How to Access Your VIP Business Profile
Log into your account at www.getfashionablyconnected.com/fcon. You can update the current info. If you do not see an area to post your social media links and widgets, your membership needs to be updated to the VIP Member level. How to Find Your VIP+ Business Profile After you have created your profile you can view it in the Fashion Directory by the main category you selected when you filled out the Business Registration Form. Just go to our web site www.fashionablyaustin.com and click on the Fashion Industry Directory link. Select the main category you chose when you set up your profile and then choose from the sub-categories. Find your directory listing and click the See My Business Profile link in your listing to see your VIP Business Profile. VIP Business Profile Includes:
Photos:This can be a photo of you, your company logo, or a product. This photo will be display in the Fashion Directory and on your VIP Business Profile. We will use the photo in our promotions so make sure it represents your business well. The system requires a photo upload that is sized 200x240 px. because we need it to automatically size the photo down to the thumbnail image that posts in the main Austin Fashion Directory. If you need help sizing your photo email it to support@getfashionablyconnected.com. Contact Info:As a VIP Member you get the added benefit of listing your web address in the fashion directory and on your business profile. All members are allowed to post an address, but if you do not have a location where you accept customers, you can leave those fields blank. CAUTION: DO NOT list your home address if you do not want it to be made public. If you do have a business location, your address will create a google maps link that will allow people to drive straight to your door. Business DescriptionYour business description will appear in the main fashion directory and in the top area of your VIP Business Profile. Your description is limited to 75 words. Please check for spelling and proper grammar. About / Services / ProductsTake advantage of the space to promote your services and products. Promote your experience, share recognition that you've earned, describe your products and services, and tell people what makes your business different. Setting Up Social Media LinksHelp others connect with you through your social media profiles. If you have a Facebook Fan Page, Twitter account, YouTube Channel or Flickr photo stream, just enter the url of your profile to set up your links. If you have a social media profile that you would like to add, let us know. If we have a large number of requests for that profile we will consider adding it as an option. Widget CodePictures speak a thousand words! So make sure you include Flickr Photo Streams and YouTube Videos in your VIP Business Profile. We have limited the widgets to display two, more would increase the load time of your page. We prefer a consistent layout so ask that you use these sizes for the widgets: Flickr Photo Stream: 640x480 Want Your Own Domain Name? - You can purchase a domain name and we can point your profile to that domain name so you can easily promote your profile with a simple url. Just click this link to order your domain name and then let us know and we'll set it up for you. This is an additional fee payable to Go Daddy and maintained by you.
